Claydol Solo questions

When i simulated different Claydol runs in Pokebattler, this is my team:

Kyogre - Lv35x4
Mewtwo - Lv35x1
Kyogre Lv30x1

All 5 Kyogres have Hydro Pump, Mewtwo has Psycho Cut/Shadow Ball.

None of the Kyogre are in the lv36 breakpoint.

I found out that i can do Gyroball and Psychic without dodging, but with Earthquake i would lose instantly unless i lead with a Gengar. The Gengar's stats are the following:

Gengar
Hex/Shadow Ball
Lv35

I do not have any eligible Shadow Claw Gengars for now.

And in practice it would be true, as i would had been soloed an Extrasensory/Gyroball one just by spamming Kyogre's moves. However, afterwards i saw a Confusion/Earthquake one and i lost because the Kyogres cannot sustain the charge move flow with or without dodging. I then packed the aforementioned Gengar, it would fire 2 Shadow Balls and for some reason allow me to beat it with little or no dodging.

In all of these cases i would have 6 or less seconds left. It's usually 6 seconds left.

So what is the exact reason that Gengar is especially that important against Earthquake? I've also ran the same set i used for Earthquake vs Extrasensory/Psychic and i would lose, but with Confusion i would win according to it. All simulations assume no dodging, but in practice i might need to dodge some of Claydol's moves.

I already soloed a Claydol with EQ CM..
My Line-up was...
1. L35 Kyogre
2. L37.5 Gyarados
3. L35 ShB M2
4. L35 Gyarados...
It only needs 4 before the raid time ends...

Result was Failed 4 times... hehhehe... Sorry...
Only T3 Claydol and Jolteon I can't manage to defeat...
Maybe I will try again while they Back as Boss...

As of now I have 3 L32 SC ShB Gengar... + 2 L35 ShB M2 and L35 Kyogre... Maybe I will try to use them...

Add an extra SC Gengar and the extra Kyogre with Mewtwo as a closer. Remove the 2 Gyarados, they are not going anywhere out of rain.

I would be surprised if your team could win without weatherboost. I've failed before with a team of unique maxed counters, Claydol is just really hard.

Remember that the sim results are averages of many simulations, sometimes it's just really hard to explain a result without a thorough investigation on what is happening and in how many of the individual sims.

Hard solos always require some amount of trial and error, sims only get you so far. I'd just go and try it. I wouldn't dodge except for when it makes the difference between firing a HP or dying with a lot of energy in the bar.

Get those Kyogre to last breakpoint with some rare candy off Mewtwo, problem solved.

I believe the reason is that Earthquake is Claydol's weakest move, which means your Kyogres get energy slower (more damage, more energy). Which is why you need a Gengar to compensate, since it will do massive damage in a few seconds.

I'm not so sure, gyro ball is a weak move without stab and is resisted by Kyogre.

You are right, I forgout about stab and Kyogre's resistance. That means I have no clue why they need a Gengar ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
