Can't log in with google (iOS 10) since last update
i have gotten a lot of great information from this site - thanks! - but this is my first time registering.
I have not been able to log in to Pokémon go since the last update about 5 days ago (missed the community day!). I have an iPhone 6 with iOS 10, and log in with my google account. I also sometimes use an iPad - same OS.
My son plays, too, and depending on what we are doing sometimes he is on the iPad and I am on the iPhone, and sometimes vice versa. We have the same issue with his account on both devices.
I followed all of the instructions in the troubleshooting guide on the support page (including deleting an reloading the app, disconnecting the device from my google account, etc.) and it was no help. I usually try to log on a few times per day, and it always gets stuck on the Pokémon go splash page with a poke ball spinning ( after I enter my google credentials and before the screen with the picture of the trainer).
Anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions?

Thanks... having phone issues after the iOS update is why I am still on iOS 10. It does what I want it to do, so if it isn't broken I don't want to "fix" it. Lag after an iOS update was why I eventually upgraded from my iPhone 4 to the 6. The old phone was good for what I needed it for but apple made it obsolete.
The PoGo support page says iOS 9 and 10 are supported, and also that they are working on login issues, so I guess I'll take a break from PoGo for a while until they figure it out. If they eventually say that iOS 11 is required I will decide then if i wat to update... or maybe as the next community day approaches I will give upgrading a try, as I would like a couple more T-Tars.
