Best counter for Great League Crobat

My friend has a crobat that terrorizes me in Great League and I'm trying to find the best counter for it. I have fairly solid resources and can find just about any common pokemon needed (located in NYC). Any help or suggestions on decent counters?

Thanks in advance!

Do you have a research box Raikou/Zapdos? Those are strong Electric counters.

Piloswine has several effective profiles, and is fairly high level before it scoots out of Great League. Either move paired with Avalanche would go well, as would an Ice Weavile, though frailer.

If you happen to have a low level SD Tyranitar (say a shiny, you evolved during one of the community days), that would also work.

A Confusion/Avalanche Jynx is quite strong, and would hit with both moves for SE damage.

Magnaton, steel electric, double resists both its stab and is super effective against it.

Better yet, if you have a legacy Magneton with Thunder Shock, and Discharge, buy a second move for it and TM the second move (if needed) to Magnet Bomb, and you'll have a pokemon that will terrorize him for months. Multiple resistances, super fast energy generation and low energy Charged attacks that burn through his shields and hit pretty hard. Even without Thunder Shock, Spark is also quite effective, trading a little energy for a little damage, and still on the higher end of energy generation.

Currently looking for Discharge Magneton in trade, will trade something good for it.

It's a legacy move, most dont have that, and I like leaving those out of consideration as most dont have them.

Surprisingly, I do have one with Discharge and Thunder shock...and only at 1035 CP so it's perfectly viable! Thanks for the heads up! Probably going to add a second move as well like was previously suggested.

I have a few Jynx that could work. Unfortunately I didn't keep any Ttars that low (needed for raids). I have Raikou and Zapdos. Still haven't gotten around to investing in a Piloswine and I haven't had any luck in getting Sinnoh Stones (30+ battles and not a single stone. TERRIBLE RNG). I will do some research and try to figure out my best counter, but really appreciate the ideas!

Up until now, i still like using cheap/ easy to get (for me) pokemons and see how it perform in battle especially for great and ultra.
I will attack that Crobat in it flying type rather than its poison.
So i use swalot (ice beam), poliwrath, pilowswine or some pokemon that have rock charge move like sudowodoo, nido(queen),etc
Raichu all electric is also vey good against it, use spark as its fast move and i prefer thunfer punch for it quickeness altough wild charge is also very good. It is also good if you want to worn down that Azumariil, your opponent using Azu will risk quite a lot of chunk in HP if he/she decided not to shield it

Crobat's neutral TDO isn't great so any of the top pokemon that aren't weak to its moves should handle it. Altaria, Umbreon are some fairly obvious ones.

For specific counters, Magneton is a pretty hard counter. Skarmory, Steelix, Lanturn, Minun, Lapras are some other good ones.

Another suggestion, one that hasn't come up yet because the pokemon isn't available yet, Probopass. Spark and Rock Slide will shred Crobat.

Crobat is weak to Electric, Rock, Ice, and Psychic. If you can trade for a Cresselia with CP 1500 or less, that would also work well. Ice is a weaker attacking type, although Lapras is a strong choice, a legacy one with Ice Shard/Ice Beam is the bomb. Water Gun/Surf is good, but not the type for taking on Crobat.

When I look for counters, I look for the best Charged move of the types that hit the foe for SE damage. For Crobat, those would be:
Avalanche
Rock Slide
Thunderbolt/Wild Charge (little faster vs. little more DPE)

The Psychic ones that come up are Psycho Boost (Deoxys) and Psystrike (Mewtwo, not out yet) and then Future Sight, which is pretty slow at 65 energy, but not terrible.

Armed with a list of the good moves, go to the Charge Moves section of this website, and see which pokemon have that move.

For the fast moves, my preferred metric is DPS times EPS to the three halves power. That balances off damage and energy generation, but gives a little extra emphasis to the energy part (since getting energy for the charged attack is where most of the damage comes from).

Probopass should be a strong contender in great league overall, it ranks between Altaria and Meganium in neutral TDO, I'll for sure be testing it out when we get it.

As for finding the best counters, I'd rather just suggest using the DPS/TDO sheet. You can either find counters against Crobat specifically, or check which are the best neutral TDO pokemon of the types that counter it.
