Baby Pokémon 7k timeframe

I’ve been trying to find info on how long those baby Pokémon will be in 7k’s but am coming up short. Does anyone know? Now that the stardust event is over, I’m curious if anyone’s still hatching them from gifts opened after. Wonder if this was the “shooting star” Niantic illuded to. And if it isn’t over, does anyone know when it will be? Thanks for any help in advance!

Well 'shooting star' could correspond to Jirachi, beign thats its a pokemon that grants wishes and what do people wish upon? A shooting star (which is also what jirachi's based on), but dont know exactly what it is.
A friend of mine thinks the 7k babies will be permanent as lets be honest, theres no reason to hatch them otherwise once you get an alolan vulpix, babies in 7ks would be a very smart decision by naiantic because shiny babies are a 1/50 odds rather than the 1/450 odd of a shiny field encoutner, so its far easier to get shiny babies from 7k's than it was to get them from 2 and 5ks, possibly to keep people buying incubators.
Given how people went nuts for my shiny togepi when I put one up for trade, I think the increased odds will definitely be attracting people if they stay, similar to how people were buying incubators when regionals were in 7ks

They will be permanent until further notice. The babies being in 7KMs aren't an event like the regionals. If anything, expect the 7km pool to get a bit better when some more Gen 4 pokes and babies are released.
