Anyone else feeling remorse pre event hatching?

Simple. They don't announce these things because they don't want you to change your style of play in the days leading up to an event.

Hatched 5 yesterday...without 5x....

I hatched 5 this morning, thinking it would be x3 XP, but i didn't care about XP.. Now that I know it is x5, I'm a little upset it was two Gligars, one growlithe, but i did get a 96% Scyther, and a Pinsir with RS/CC. Yeah, take that Bug Catcher

I took the gamble on missing out a couple of km's of play on my commute last night when I realised I'd be hatching 2 10K eggs. Seemed weird not to be playing but I'm glad I switched off.

Actually, the extra EXP from hatching was leaked initially...There was no mention of how much, but since I posted it, it was definitely in the rumor when the fire/ice event was first leaked out.

Niantic's official posting didn't state it, but as I say, it's always good to just wait...Walking 10km over a week is easy (do that in near a day) so no rush IMO...

I wanted to add that there will probably be ANOTHER event after this one to coincide with the actual launch of Pokemon Go on July 5th or 6th...being July 4th weekend too, expect good/great things (my hope is back to actually DOUBLE (or even TRIPLE!) candies from eggs)...and double or even TRIPLE candies from transfers.

That's why I always try to save my 10KM batches for events. Just started incubating 8 of them right after the event began, and tomorrow I'm going to synchronize hatching them together with my 7-day streaks during a lucky egg.
