Android VS iPhone pokrmon returned notifications

So I couldn't help notice that my android is not giving me the notifications of the Pokémon returning outside of the app. But on the iPhone when i log in they are all there. Any android players out there seeing the same?

I have never had a Pokemon return notification on Android to be honest. Is that new with the update? I haven't done PoGo since the update really.

I got one! The first day the gyms reopened. None since. In fact I'd forgotten it was supposed to happen!

Android and get them daily.
