Does anyone know yet how the catch rate for premier balls compares to that of regular pokeballs?

I believe it's the same as a poke ball, which would make sense (following main series). But I haven't read anything official.

Been reminding people the update is still NEW! Therefore take the game as it is, because the update will iron itself out. Interesting read, they left TTar alone? Not bad, all of this was expected though. Personally was only going for Machamp, TTar and TMs. Be interesting to read for percent change if any on TMs.

Tyranitar base catch rate was already very low (5%) from the start so they didn't touch it

This is why ive been saying it was better to catch these in the wild as they are not as hopped up on sugar and trainers have the ability to use ultra balls to increase their catch rate.

Before trying to catch and level 4 raid tyranitar was almost impossible even with golden raspberry+curve ball+excellent throw. Ive had them break out as soon as the ball hit them, not even a single shake.

Now the same is true for the rest of the level 4 bosses. The starters I didn't even bother with because they were near to impossible.

3 out of 4 tyars; 3 out of 3 croconaws.
But Croconaws was solo more caandies.
Ttar not so, beyween 9 and 11 (+3 damage always, sometime max team bonus).

I guess I've lucked out as well. I just did 3 raids in the past couple hours. Caught a Lapras, Snorlax, and Machamp. G-Berry, curve, and great throws. Wish best of luck to all in your future raids!

Oh geez. I haven't even been able to catch a level 3 raid boss at all, much less a level 4...

I noticed this yesterday with Snorlax. Snorlax was always a yellow circle with a Golden Rasberry. Not anymore. It's red-orange now.

If Niantic want more revenue, they better fix the gym lag/memory leak problem. No one wants to spend money on a game where a major aspect is borderline unplayable.

I think most that are playing is thinking the issue is there device being too old and just accepting the lags. Eventually they will catch on its the game but for now they will continue to spend money.
