An alternative way to acquire TMs

If an alternative way to acquire TMs was introduced, how would you like it to work? Personally, I would be very happy if there was a chance to get a TM instead of an evolution item on the 7 day streak. Any other suggestions? And do you think there will ever be an alternative way to get TMs at all?

I agree with your suggestion, the evo items are taking up unecessary space in the inventory. Maybe there should be a 50% of getting a TM or evo item on the 7 day streak, and a small chance of randomly getting TMs from Pokestops like evo item drops.
Personally, I think a "Daily Challenges" implementation might be a good idea to dish out rewards. This can consist of an easy task(capture 10 poison pokemon,etc) a harder task (win 20 gym battles,etc) and a difficult task (hold 3 gyms at once or maybe fight an X number of gym battles with a type disadvantage), with each task giving small rewards like some stardust. Then when all 3 tasks are completed, the player can be gifted a TM or maybe 10 coins

7th day streak would be nice. But being available from normal spins would devalue them too much.

That is why the percentage chance of getting them will be as low as random evo item drops. From gen 2 release till today, I have only received 3 evo items from random drops.

I can see them being available in the store at some point, perhaps in special boxes, but otherwise I think I'd prefer if they remained a raid prize.

I'll admit though that evolution items are a bit of problem, though some people do genuinely need them. I'd rather a reliable means of dropping them not be removed.

Maybe not TMs, but I've felt for awhile that Golden Razz, Rare Candy, and even single use incubators should be drops as rare or slightly rare than the evo items (maybe even specifically from Gold Gym Badge gyms), particularly since evo items won't apply to anything beyond the currently generations.
Also, raids really need to stop giving us more than 6 revives per reward group, apply those drops to other items.
