90,000 EXP or the Pokemon, which is more valuable?

Just because it is a common hatch for you it does not mean it is a bad hatch, it is one of the best hatches you can get, period. You have hatched 4 mon that any trainer would want, Larvitarx2, Chansey and Snorlax, all top tier mon and the 2 best defenders of the game.
Sometimes I can't understand how people can complain. Even you said you have hatched 18x10km eggs this week, loool. I have get 2 10km eggs during the past 15 days...just to put yourself into perspective.
So be grateful, 4/9 is more than a lot of us will get, the "normal" would have been 2/9 or 3/9, in that mix you have missed at least one Pineco, I have never hatched a badge of 10km eggs without him, so there is that also.
No one is complaining. Everyone plays differently, most trainers out there may value a lavitar due to high CP final form but I don't. I rather take a snorlax or chansey because they align with my play style :).
I'm always incubating. My play style have switched this week for EXP, what comes out the eggs don't really matter unless the IVs are 100. I just wanted to know what are the other trainers focusing on right now the 5x experience or the monsters.
As you play longer and accumulate more good pokemons it is natural that what you call a "good hatch" gets more and more narrow.
A friend of my at one point only regarded Chansey (candy) and Dratini above IV 95 as good hatches, the latter only if it evolved to DT/O. Lots of room to get disappointed then :-)
Do not forget about the stardust!!! Thats often the best outcome of a hatch.
First of all, I would have been stoked by that hatching spree.
Second to answer to your question. For me this week is about two things: getting exp and getting as much Houndour and Cyndaquil candy as I possibly can. So the exp would be the most important thing from the hatches and bad mon wouldn't be as upsetting as usual. Good mons would just be a nice bonus :)
The XP can never be more important.
Even though 10k xp from a 10k egg sounds like a lot, the cost of even one incubation is still 50 coins. A lucky egg on the current sale is HALF that, and a lucky egg is worth far more than 10k. Infact the only way you even get 10k from that hatch is if you are also running a lucky egg.
Stardust isn't it either. You can always get stardust through grinding.
The real benefit of 10k hatches is always getting the quality candy and maybe even a high IV quality mon, meaning Chansey, Snorlax, Larvitar and Dratini. For many players, hatching those eggs are the only real way of getting that crucial candy for those mons. Walking 5km for one candy is too slow no matter how much you walk. Even walking 10k every single day only gives you a total of 60 candy a month. Even a single 10k hatch can give you up to 33 candy (including sending to the trainer). For instance, I have been walking Chansey forever. During my last batch hatching of 10k eggs, I got two Chansey combining for 60 candy. That just saved me 300km walking.
So basically you hatch 10k eggs for:
1) The chansey/snorlax/larvitar/dratini candy
2) The possibility of a high IV chansey/snorlax/larvitar/dratini
3) The stardust
4) The xp
The EXP from 10km eggs isn't anymore than hatching any other eggs...5k EXP for a 10km egg takes twice as long as getting 2.5k EXP for a 5km egg...(or 1k for a 2km egg)...so the exp for 10km eggs is actually the same.
I'm still saving my 10km eggs for a double candy event since the candies are worth a lot more than the EXP for me...I do walk a 10km egg (just hatched a Larvitar with 32 candies) when I get my 8th 10km egg though.
I also think/am sure there will be a July 4th event since that's the actual anniversary of PoGo launching and there will be different rewards...
(Perspective of a f2play player who rarely runs 9 incubators).
