2 charged moves Ttar : really that good?

After playing pvp for a bit, I’m getting the feeling that giving (buying) Ttar a second moves really doesn’t make much of a difference, perfect IV or not.
What do you think? Has anyone tried it?

It can still be useful, I think.

Stone edge is generally the best attack.

But, since super effective damage is more important now than stab, fire blast can be useful against grass and steel types. Against ice and bug, stoneedge is better as it also does super effective damage, while having further stab boost. Steel resists rock so against a steel pokemon, fire blast fares a lot better. Fighting also resists stone, so against pure fighters again fire blast is better.

Crunch is also a good option for when TT is about to faint, and needs to do some damage with meager energy, or to waste opponent's shields.

I have two charge moves on my great league Tyranitar and I'd say they are both pretty essential. Coverage is just very valuable.

For Master league I imagine having the ability to hit SE against all of Mewtwo, Giratina, Metagross, Latios, Dragonite, Gyarados and any others I'm not thinking of at the moment would be quite valuable.

Yes, it is. Even in raids, A Tyranitar with Bite/Crunch/Stone Edge is very useful against things that are both weak to dark and rock.

Ive used one with bite/SE and Cr, and is destroys thing s in masters.

Fighting is something you dont need to worry about there, and stone edge and crunch provide a lot of coverage, metagross, mewtwo, lugia, latios. giratina, dragonite, gyarados, and neutrally hits melmetal
