100% Growlithe

I just caught a 100% IV Growlithe! And I'm so happy as Arcanine is one of my favourite mons in the game, so I'd like to max out this one. With this gym rework he could also be a good defender thanks to Wild Charge.

Now my dilemma is: should I evolve it now and hope for S+WC or FF+FB, or should I wait and hope for a better move change like maybe OH?

Also consider that I already own a 87% level 25 S+WC and a 67% level 30 FF+FT.

I don't think they'll change moves with the update, but you can wait a day or two to be sure.

And if they should introduce better defensive movesets, you can always use TMs on your Arcanine ;)

I don't understand why everyone says wild charge makes Arcanine a great defender. Have y'all ever heard of ground types?

80% of typical attackers would always use Vaporeon against Arcanine. For what I've seen in my area, the vast majority of players still only knows the really basic stuff.

I always use Rhydon for Arcanine, Vaporeon for other fire types.

I would evolve it now.
The current moves may become legacy.
If you get a bad moveset, or if they add new moves you want then you will have TM's to get the new/better moves...but if you wait, and it turns out the legacy moves are better, if they change the movesets to something not as good, you may never have a chance to get them again.

The fact we know TMs are coming and make any moves a possibility, except those that are legacy, makes it an easy decision...at least in my mind.
