These breakdowns will assume a value of 0 to Lucky Eggs. Lucky Eggs currently provide 0 value to players over level 38 and are readily available in almost every Legacy Special Box, throwing off price evaluations that include them. A level cap increase is likely not too far in the future, but it is unknown if such an increase will bring actual unlocks with it, so it’s safe to view them as being worthless for any players 38+ for now, especially for those players not maxing Pokemon (the only benefit to leveling up). With the influx of experience from gifting and friendship, XP has become a very poor indicator of experience, furthering the uselessness of Lucky Eggs.

While players will find utility in Super Incubators over traditional Incubators if constantly running 9 Eggs or rushing to complete Research, a majority of players will find their gameplay mechanics identical; they each hatch 3 Eggs. For this reason, when discussing Super Incubator prices they are directly comparable to Incubators.

The value of Incense fluctuates based on availability/time during CD and meta-relevance of the CD Pokemon. With many upcoming Hoenn species to be featured during Community Day, many players may value these higher, though their value fluctuates wildly from player to player.

Lure Modules are the trickiest item to evaluate with their value dependent on stop and spawn density while also factoring other nearby players, as others can lure for you. 100s of players can share the same lures, making them difficult to evaluate. Analysis including lures will also factor against previous LSB containing all other premium items (except Lucky Eggs, worth 0).

Any items that can be obtained by spinning PokeStops are also calculated as zero in the calculations. Consider increasing your Item Storage instead, an investment that will quickly pay for itself if you value items you can receive from spins.

Special

4 Incubators for 480 coins is a 20% discount ranking this Special Box the 7th best deal offered on just this item. This is a three-way tie. Accounting for past boxes also including Raid Passes, this box ranks 57th. Considering Star Piece, that ranking drops to 81st. If you only incubate and won’t have 1480 coins before this event ends, this box is okay. Well-rounded players should hold out for future deals.

A 2/4 split on Raid Passes and Incubators is a measly 2.5% discount ranking this box 100th all time. Purchase this box only if you are feeling nostalgic for 2017 discount boxes.

Ultra

This 15/7 split on Raid Passes and Incubators is a 41.96% discount ranks it 13th all time (remember those numbers). Anything above 40% in this metric is a fantastic pickup.

Considering Star Piece, this is a 46.18% discount, ranking it 24th all time.

A huge draw to this box is that it is technically a discount on Raid Passes. Buy 14 Get One 20% Off isn’t exactly a huge sale but it’s important for those players hoping to put as many coins as possible towards Raid Passes.

Comparing this box only with recent boxes containing 15 and 16 Raid passes, this box is the best sale on Raid Passes + Incubators. In this same group, it is the 2nd best sale on Raid Passes, Incubators, and Star Piece behind the 47.14% sale offered in the Pokemon Day 2019 Ultra Box (15 Passes, 6 Incubator, 8 Star Piece).

Adventure

Firstly, 17 Incubators for 1480 coins is a new historic low, beating the previous best of 16 for the same cost. At 87.06 coins per Incubator, this is a 41.96% discount. This means that even without Raid Passes it ties the current Adventure box. This sale is extremely good. Take note of the fact that the Special box ranks 7th and is half the discount this box offers.

Considering Star Piece, this is a 46.18% discount, dropping it to 2nd all time. The mentioned previous best historic low contained 8 Star Piece. Again, this box is the same discount as the Ultra box and would tie it for 24th by that metric.
