How to Prepare for the Psystrike Mewtwo Legendary Raid Hour Tonight

October 8th, 2019 marks the arrivial of the make-up event in relation to the Mewtwo Raid Hour that was supposed to happen last month, during the release of Psystrike Mewtwo. 

The event began unsuccessfully in New Zealand in September, causing the event to be canceled for the rest of the world. 

Players will be fighting Mewtwo in every gym that can host a raid, beginning about 15 minutes before 6 PM in your local time zone. The event lasts until 7 PM and several free raid passes will be available for players. One Redditor in New Zealand reported receiving 4 free Raid Passes.

Mewtwo is a fierce Psychic-type attacker with Psytrike, one of the most powerful moves in the game. Shadow Ball Mewtwo, which has been available in EX Raids starting this past week, is an excellent counter to use against it.
