Name trick reusable?

I know theemre‘s the one-time name trick to get a specific Eeveelution (I already used it), but did Niantic by any chance announce to bring it back for the CDs? I‘m just wondering because I don‘t really want to leave it up to luck which Eeveelution I get, especially the shinys

You can always trade the missing form with someone...

even leaving it up to chance you can get all 3 (using 3 eevee) in 1/2*1/3= 1/6 of the time. Not bad odds by any stretch.

More importantly, your expected value for number of Eevees to evolve before getting all three is 1 + 1.5 + 3 = 5.5, so if you evolve 6, good odds you'll have one of each - if not, trade for the missing form.
